Below we designed a yacht charter guide to answer many of the questions that come out when charter a yacht.

Crewed charter Mallorca and crewed charter Ibiza combines all the amenities of a hotel with the freedom and privacy offered by a private yacht.

For your enjoyment on board you can choose from absolute relaxation, special celebrations, the finest cuisine, explore most beautiful and remote coves and beaches, a variety of water activities such as jet skis, water skiing, fishing, diving, snorkeling, paddle surf etc…

Once you have made the decision to charter a yacht, the booking process is simple. The process is handled by a specialized agent acting as the main line of communication between all parties providing expert advice, planning and preparing all details for the charter.

Let us know your charter requirements, charter date, location, type of yacht, number of cabins, budget, etc… and then we analyze all this information and we will propose the most suitable yachts available.

Once the yacht and details are arranged, we will proceed to sign a legal charter agreement.

Obligatory extras: Always fuel and supplies (see A.P.A below).

Optional Expenses 1) Mooring fees may be applied to charters that require a berth outside of the homeport. 2) Delivery and redelivery fees may be applied to charters that require the yacht to start or finish a charter away from its homeport. 3) Crew costs, for bareboat charter captain’s fees is an extra between 150 € -250 € per day, could also be an extra stewardess or cook between 120 € / 200 € per day. 4) Comfort expenses (sheets, towels, cleaning etc..) only apply for bareboat boats.

The A.P.A (Advanced Provisioning Allowance) only applies for crewed yacht charter the Charterer will be charged for all expenses corresponding to fuel, berthing costs out homeport, food and beverages and any other particular services that you may request. With the purpose of covering these costs, we will require an advanced provisioning allowance (A.P.A) which is normally between 20% to 30% of the charter fee. This will be given to the yacht captain prior to boarding. At the end of the charter, and during if requested, the captain will produce full accounts of all expenditure either with a refund of monies not spent or a request for payment if the APA was exceeded.

A security deposit is required for bareboat charter and in some cases for crewed charter, this deposit covers any damage attributable to negligence, minor accidents or misus.

Yes for crewed yacht charter, after you have booked we´ll ask you to fill out our Preference Charter Form; provisions, preferred itinerary and any other particular requests. We then forward this information to your captain in order to make preparations accordingly. Also if you prefer we may put you in contact directly with your crew.

Depends on each yacht, most of them do not allowed smoke inside for safety reasons but they have designated smoking areas at the decks.

Storage on board may be limited and the crew appreciates soft bags. Keep in mind that during the charter is usually spent in a bathing suit and shorts. Essential items to have on board are sun cream, hats, bathing suits, seasickness tablets, soft cotton shorts and t-shirts, warm clothing for chilly nights, rubber sole shoes to protect both yourself and the yachts deck, sunglasses and camera.

Yes, the client may set the route and schedules, but must always consider the Skipper & Captain´s opinion as they always have the final say concerning the technical and navigational safety.
